• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Oregon Long Bed Build

This probably got stressful but it’s fun to push the limits of your truck while it is still stock. Obviously you don’t want to break anything or be in a particularly sticky situation, but hey. I did a lot of this when mine was stock and I always learned from it.

Mostly learned how to spend all the money.

Haha. Spot on with that statement, for sure thought it wasn’t getting out and was getting very nervous. Very much looking forward to the upgrades

Welp windshield got hit by a rock on the 5 freeway in Portland

Update to my windshield, I had to re schedule the appointment from this past Wednesday to today (Friday). As expected they contract out their glass work. Well apparently when I rescheduled the service coordinator (new employee) did not notify the glass company.
So the wait is now longer than expected.

Luckily they gave me a rental.

Service department is pissed at the lady who rescheduled the appointment.

So I haven’t really been on here lately and feel bad about. Recently, I have installed amber pod fog lights and a lower bumper light that look amazing. For now I’m a point where I’m done with lights. On to the upgrades that actually matter. I’ve also started a YouTube channel with random bs and my travels. Only have a intro video currently, but I’m hoping it grows. I’ll drop the link here.
Also doing a Browns Camp trail run this Sunday near Portland. Message me for details.

I also have a custom bed rack in the works that will carry camping and recovery gear. I’m very excited. I found a local metal shop that is saving me huge

Local metal shop you say?

Also, FYI, I just stopped going to Kendall and now go to Litha for repairs. They are 100x better!

Over the past week I finally installed my lift kit on my truck. Did the whole thing on my own and it was quite a learning experience.
Installed:
Bilstein 5100 front and rear shocks, sitting at highest snap ring.
Wheelers OffRoad 2” AAL
OME 2888 Front Coil overs
SPC UCAS

Wheel/tire combo is perfect. Stance looks great. Where you able to get that camber adjusted?
