Howdy.

I have some play in one lower ball joint. Is that replaceable? I can only find the part for The whole LCA. If I have to buy the whole thing I'd rather get something cooler looking, I mean stronger and more impact resistant.

Should be. I have never heard of a vehicle without replaceable ball joints.
Autozone suggests that part GFA80827 fits.
It’s a thing. Our ford has a lca with fixed BJ.

I looked on the Toyota parts catalog and it’s a unit. Lower arm and ball joint are one part.
