Finally finished the 416 today. Took it for a quick rip down the road to test things out. May need a little more forward weight on the tongue. Tracks well but gets a little bouncy. Could just be the asphalt ruts on this road though.

Going to run my winter tires and wheels for now. Then get exact matching wheel and tire size for next season.

All in all the build was a lot of fun. The Raptor liner came out well and the Timbren axleless system seems stout.

Break down of parts:

- Raptor Liner: 4 quarts black, 2 quarts tintable with 2 bottles of Custom Coat Federal Battleship Dark Gray. I'd recommend an extra quart of each if you plan on doing this. The liner didn't exactly cover the square feet they claim for each bottle.

- Timbren Axleless suspension ASR1THDS03 which gives 4in of lift and has long spindles for offroad tires. Sitting on 235/85-16 tires now. Will switch to 255/85-16

- etrailer idler hub AKIHUB-655-35-K
which has a 6 x 5.5in bolt pattern to match the tow vehichle.

- Compact Camping M416 trailer lounge conversion

- 7pin trailer wiring to accommodate the backup lights and future trailer brakes.

- smoked lens LED marker lights, taillights, and reverse spot lights all came from Amazon. The taillights are garbage. They worked the whole time in the garage then took a crap when the ground gave out after the first ride.

Great looking trailer. Based on the photos, it does look like you would be tongue light. Put a spare or tool box on the front and you'll be perfect.
That was my thinking as well. Putting a tongue box on soon. Maybe that will cure it.

Awesome conversion. I've never seen an axleless trailer. Looks clean, but what is the weight rating on them?
