Hello from Boerne Texas. Found you guys on instagram so I joined up since 3rd gen only makes sense. Just got a 19’ Limited 4x4 in Cement and love the truck. I’ve owned several tacos but this is my first 3rd gen. So far I’ve got ceramic tint and weather techs. Looking for a quality budget build this time around so I’m considering the OME kit from headstrong ( nitro shocks-soft, 887 coils and headstrong 3 pack rear lift with nitro) along with some 275/65/18 ridge graps on my stock wheels. I’m cool with the stock wheels for now..kinda want to see how they look with the lift and bigger tires. I’m mostly on road so ride and handling are important tome instead of just off road performance. One reason I actually got the limited instead of off road...dang I’m finally getting older I guess! As long as it had 4x4 I knew it would be enough. Anyway, I’m enjoying reading thru the threads and can’t wait to start building

Welcome! You've definitely got a rarity with the limited around here. By far I think we mostly have Off Road and Sports, so it's good to mix it up!

Great! I love the off roads and sports and almost got a OR but some guy had ordered this limited and backed out, and the day I was buying was the day it showed up without any dealer add on crap so I snagged it for a good price and it happen to be the color I wanted so it worked out.

Well I wanted to get my lift and tires soon but just not in the budget yet..but I can’t leave the truck stock either. Since my truck came new with Michelin 265/60/18s and I can’t bring myself to get rid of them yet, so I opted for wheels! I’ll use the stock tires till they wear a little and do ATs in a year or so and hopefully a lift then too. But for now at least I’ll have my wheels! Order Black rhino Dugger 18x8.5 0offset. Thinkin they should fit great, even with no lift and stock tires. Lemme know ur thoughts!

Well come to find out those are on backorder with no eta in sight, so I’m going with Fuel Vector in Anthracite.

Ordered and payed for wheels today..but I pulled trigger on the 17x8.5 fuel vectors and added 265/70/17 ridge graps. Hoping they fit ok on stock suspension since I’m not lifting till next year. Should be cool setup for stock suspension I hope. Install next Wednesday and I’ll post pic.

I got the wheels n tires installed today. I really like the way it turned out. I debadged also so the bling factor has calmed down. Still going to do the blk Tacoma letters on tail gate with a blk 4x4 badge..then she’ll be good to go for a while until I lift next year or two.

My plan to wait a year to do suspension just went down the drain haha. Today I just ordered ADS 2.5 coil overs with res and rears to match. Also Icon RXT leafs and Icon delta joint UCAs. All from Headstrong off-road. Depending on how fast they get here, I’ll have it all installed before month end hopefully. No it’s time to hurry up and wait

Are you doing the installation yourself? (From one central Texican to another).

No Im letting performance off road in Boerne do it. It will be my first time using them, but they do truck suspension day in and day out and also have a new hunter alignment machine so it will be a one day deal. The store manager Cody was nice and attentive and gave me a great install price.

Well it all happened today and so far I’m very pleased. Got the ADS resi installed, Rtx icon leafs, Icon UCAs. I currently have 265/70/17s and kinda wanted to go to 285/70s. Opinions are welcome about if I should go to the 285s! I’m not stretching these coil overs out much so probably around 1.5-2inch lift is all. Little taller than a trdpro. Anyhow, let me know what you think. I’ve had many coilover lifts, but this is probably the nicest yet. I’ll have better/cleaner pics soon. Limited with coilovers! Haha
