UPDATE 7/26/2023. PLEASE GO TO LAST POST IN THREAD FOR UPDATES. THIS IS FOR SEAT SPACER UPDATES. UPDATES ARE ALSO LISTED FOR THE VARIOUS LICENSE PLATE BRACKETS. EVERYTHING INCLUDES FREE PRIORITY OR 1ST CLASS SHIPPING.
Most of you have probably seen these on other forums. Especially Californians and west coasters who have bought over 50% of the ones I sold. Simple replacement for the big bulky dealer installed bracket that, over time, digs in and cuts grooves in your factory painted bumper. They are 3/16" thick 6061 aluminum with included stainless hardware and rubber isolators that minimize contact with your bumper. They are extremely rigid and have had zero complaints. I make these at home in my garage work shop. They are primarily designed as a replacement bracket utilizing the 2 holes the dealer drilled in your bumper. If you don't have holes then you would need to drill holes to mount this bracket. Personally I would look at other options instead of drilling new holes in a clean bumper. This is not a business and I am sharing a fix that worked for me. I waited too long and now have 2 permanent grooves on my 2016 bumper. The only way to purchase is on ebay. It costs more on my end but makes shipping much easier and provides buyer protection. I usually make between 25 and 50 per run. When I get close to selling out I order more material and make another run. I have a great paying day job so these are made one week during each month. So on occasion the ad may disappear for a few days. Thanks for looking.

New prototype made that uses all 4 license plate screws and remains hidden behind the license plate and still mounts using the dealer drilled holes for the oem bracket. Also is reversible so can raise or lower the license plate. It is a prototype. It requires triple the material, double the labor and 8 additional fasteners. If it does go into production it will be double the price of my original design. Just thought I would share. After calculating material, labor, assembly and shipping costs the price for this would be $32.99 shipped. That is about the same price as a factory plastic bracket and less than half of a BOZZmount bracket. If I get at least 20 pre-orders I will manufacture them. That does still include all stainless hardware and fasteners for mounting the bracket and plate. If no takers then at least I have mine.

This newest bracket has been scrapped. I am making another prototype which is very similar in design but will be lighter and less expensive to sell and ship. It will look much the same and still use 4 screws to mount the license plate. The last prototype was simply overkill in design and overpriced. I am hoping to introduce something just as strong and protective in the $25 shipped price range. As soon as I machine assemble and strength test it I will post pictures with a more budget friendly delivered price. It will still be fully hidden behind the license plate and protect the entire thin aluminum license plate. Thanks for looking and please stay tuned.
Newest prototype in production. Will require very light assembly after delivery. Picture instructions included just like the basic bracket.

Finally assembled, tested, postal first class shipping approved full plate bracket for $26.50 delivered. With all the labor and the costs of stainless fasteners I just couldn't get it down to $25 as hoped. Still knocked price down by $6.49 from the original plan. This is only the prototype made of local store cheaper softer aluminum and it is still plenty strong. When I buy the correct material it will be even stronger. Need to order all new fasteners and materials. This is a solid product. Take a good look. I will not drill the production parts as large for the mounting holes. The way it is assembled allows the mounting flat head screws to stick out slightly so they don't need as deep of countersinks. Still reversible for low or high mounting for those with a light bar in the lower grille. Response will dictate how many to manufacture.

Just a note that I am now working on a new quality grade 6061 aluminum QUIKFIX seat riser design that, while priced in between the cheap basic round bar with holes drilled and the much more expensive cnc billet machined seat risers, should be more appealing and more reasonably priced. New tools and materials have been ordered. I will post pictures here before I run a new ad.

Teaser ad for new product coming approx 3/21/19
NEW 3rd gen Tacoma QuikFix seat risers $45 for 1 seat. $85 for 2 seats. Price includes hardware and shipping.
Made from gr 6061 aluminum with gr 10.9 bolts. Contoured to fit the shape of the seat anchor. The surface is
polished and prepared for you to paint if desired. The square shape provides a more secure surface area than
simple round spacers. Adds approximately 15/16" to rear seat height to level seat and ease back tension.

UPDATE: I will have 136' (over 1600") of aluminum material, 400 screws (both stainless screws and grade 10.9 bolts), and some upgraded cutting tools later this week. Production switch will be "on" next weekend. That is for small brackets, full size brackets and new seat risers.

New prices including free shipping and fasteners. Note all shipping prices were increased by USPS all in production by 3/17/19 and should be available the first week of April. The seat risers are a new square body design with 15/16" lift for the rear brackets of the front seats. Designed to level the seat bottoms and provide less lower back stress particularly on long drives. Not recommended for those over 5'11" due to the low roof height of these trucks. Made for 3rd gen trucks. Not tested on 2nd gen trucks (yet). Pictures coming soon.
QF-2 License Bracket. You assemble. $27.50 includes First Class shipping and stainless fasteners.
QF-2A License Bracket assembled $30.50 includes Priority shipping and stainless fasteners.
QF-1 Original Small Bracket $16.50 includes First Class shipping and stainless fasteners.
QF-SR1 Seat Risers $40 one pair, $75 2 pair. Includes Priority shipping and grade 10.9 flange bolts.
Waiting on one more package before I start cutting.

T3G Member discounted price on seat risers. $37.50 for 1 pair. $70 for 2 pair. Must pm for this price.

Down to last 2 pair of seat risers. Will be releasing dozens of seat risers (25 pair), small license plate brackets (12) and full size license plate brackets (35) between April 6 and April 12.

New batch of full size brackets. Taking a break tonight. All parts are finish machined. All left to do is remove sharp edges, polish and assemble. Expect to start sales Sunday afternoon. One is assembled in picture. Long bars top right will be the small brackets after I drill and countersink the mounting holes in them.
