Just picked this up this past Monday. Pretty stoked. Was a Titan guy for a long time but gas was killing me, so got a Maxima for the commute. Car was fun and drove great, but I’m a truck guy, so pulled the trigger on the Tacoma. My wife has driven it more than I have.
Already order some all weather mats. Will be getting a bed cover soon as well. Looking forward to being a part of this group. Thanks for letting me in.

How was it taking the stock sticker off? I thought about removing mine but I didn't want to fight with it.

It sucked. Haha. I used a hair dryer while I was pulling it off. I used bug and tar remover to wipe of sticker residue as it was all I had laying around. Took about 45 minutes for both sides.

Where’d you get that bed decal from? Haven’t seen any like it around.

Made it. My call-sign in Afghanistan was Moose, so I figured I’d try to incorporate it into the decal. Had it on my wrangler as well. Just wanted something that was unique.

So added a tonneau cover this evening. Not bad for $160 on Amazon. Had thought about doing a topper, but had one on my Titan and I used it for about 6 months total of the 4 years I had it. Just sucked when I had to move something with the truck. Figured I’d try this roll up on the Tacoma. Easy install. Took about 30 minutes. Fit seems to be good. Have interior LEDs to put in tomorrow. Trying to talk the Wife into letting me get some new shoes as well. I might have to break down and get that purse she has been wanting first though. Haha

Interior, reverse lights and plate lights LEDs installed. So much better. Also added some badges to tailgate.

Installed some 1.25 hub centric wheel adapters today. I can’t figure out what I want for wheels and tires yet, plus my current tires are pretty much new, so just wanted a little wider stance for now until I can decide.

Nice camper, how does it pull behind your truck?
Not too bad. I kept it in 4th the whole trip. Lots of hills and over the Rockies. I did go down to 3rd once on a long upgrade. I filled up water tank about 7 miles from camp and still towed great. Less than 4K fully camp ready so not too bad. Weight distribution hitch and Trailer brake only. No sway control. Will probably pick one up at some point. Over all, I was pretty impressed with the Tacoma towing it. I have always had full size rigs so was a little hesitant at first, but did my research on here and online, and feel confident that I am right in the sweet spot for what my truck can handle well enough.

How are you liking the soft cover so far?
Just got a New truck and im debating about soft vs hard.

Do you recall the brand name??

It’s not bad. I went more for the price point of the soft cover rather than the hard cover. The brand was north mountain. Got it on Amazon.

Just got these in the mail today. Most likely a lunch break mod tomorrow. Haha. We will see if time allows me to get them put in. Ditch lights going on this weekend. Pics to follow as soon as they are installed.

Are these the sequential turn signals? Was thinking about getting something similar.

Installed mirror light yesterday morning before work, and put ditch lights on this afternoon after work. Still have to wire up ditch lights.
