• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

I’m currently on a 5,000 mile road trip from SoCal to Washington to New York

Right now I know I’m headed from Yosemite to San Francisco then Redwood National park. In Washington I’m gonna go to Olympic National park and visit @ExpeditionEssentials. For anything in between all that, I’m open to suggestions.

And yesterday, which was day one, was San Diego to Las Vegas to Yosemite.

We saw some awesome stuff today. I can’t wait to settle down tonight and post it up. I’ll be back in a few hours to do it.

I’m thinking this is going to be the main structure of the route with spontaneous detours in between:

San Diego
Las Vegas
Yosemite National Park
San Fransisco
Redwood National Park
Crater Lake National Park
Olympic National Park (and/or Mount Rainier National Park?)
Ferndale for @ExpeditionEssentials
Glacier National Park
Yellowstone National Park
Push to New York

dont know what your time limit is but if you can hit up the Smokey mountains or blue ridge mountains I’d highly recommend it. But from Long Island that should be close enough for a 4 day weekend trip anyways.

We have already done most of the east coast and southern parks on a previous trip across the country. Since we took a southern route that time, this one is our northern route/skipping east coast stuff. Great Smoky Mountains are one of our favorites though - thanks for the suggestion.

Mount Rushmore and devils tower.

[Location: Olympic National Park / Day: 5] The huge mountain really far away in that third photo is dope in person. We also had a bald eagle fly over us here which was our first time seeing one in the wild.
