Since there's a fucking vape thread (lol @Tyler) I figured I'd start a cigar thread for those of us who don't like the penis :ROFLMAO:

I'm not stuck on any one stick, but my definite go-to is the Warfighter Tobacco 5.56 Field Toro.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Camacho Triple Maduros and Rocky Patel Edge Battalions are my faves, but not always in the humidor.

I dig it. Maduros aren't my thing but I burn one every now and then. If it's a Warfighter, Rocky Patel or Drew Estate stick, I usually dig it. I get shit for it, but that includes the Acid line every now and then.

My everyday smokes that I rotate through:
- Warfighter 5.56 Field Toro
- San Cristobal Original Toro
- Rocky Patel Java Maduro or Mint Toro
- Rocky Patel Prohibition Connecticut Broadleaf Toro
- Acid Blondie Belicoso
- Undercrown Shade Belicoso
- Tabak Especial Toro

The "better" smokes I still enjoy regularly:
- Liga Privada No. 9 Parejo Toro
- Padron Damaso Toro
- Rocky Patel The Edge Connecticut Torpedo
- Pappy Van Winkle Tradition Robusto Grande
- My Father Connecticut Toro
- Warfighter 5.56 Garrison Toro
- Warfighter Victory Gran Toro

Those are just the ones off the top of my head. I find myself downright craving the San Cristobal and Java lines if I haven't had one in a while... I think they lace them with crack.

I don't smoke enough to have real heavy favorites - I know the couple I like, though. I just ordered a handful of 5 packs from cigar.com that will last me well into the fall, maybe longer. I may walk down your list and see what's what.

No shame in that. I burn about 3 sticks a week on average, and like any of the finer things in life, your tastes and preferences start to develop with experience. You'll notice probably 85% of those on my list are pretty similar to one another, mainly Toros with Connecticut wrappers and Nicaraguan binders and fillers. It's just what I like. You start developing patterns and when you do you'll have a better idea what to stock up on and give you direction on what to try next.

my humidor dried out :(

I used to smoke 2-3 times a week. manly maduro and darker cigars but not always
my favorite were illusion mj12s, AVO xo's

when I smoke now I always search for the AVOs.

also got a decent pipe collection. picked a few up in Europe from the manufactures directly. holding on to them as keepsakes until I get the urge to test em out

forgot to mention in my cigar smoking days I managed to score tickets to ICPCR in Orlando. I didn't thing id ever get the smell out, it was amazing

Buy this, live happily:

The "sponges" last about 6 months. When they're "fresh" I only have to refill my humidor once every 2 weeks, and that's here where it's hot and dry as fuck. Well worth the investment, especially if you are constantly in and out of the humidor.

I was using sponges and hum sticks. problem was the moves and multiple seasons. between summer a/c and winter heater it was a real struggle.

time to reset and start over. at one point I actually had 3 humidors and over 300 cigars. I ended up giving them away. down to less than 125 currently.

I tend to only keep 20-60 at a time in my humidor which has a capacity of 100. Seems to be the perfect amount for me. There are three major cigar warehouses and two high-end cigar bars within 20 minutes of my house, so it's not like I need to stock up. And I don't age mine or anything, I prefer them fresh and a tad on the damp side for slower, cooler burns.

yeah then humidor always did best with that amount. problem now is wife doesnt want it left out. working on getting the man cave in the basement completed. im sure I can keep it out there.

I’ve been happy with these. Auto ships every 8 weeks. 4 75% packs keep the humidor between 69-72 with infrequent opening.
