• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Alright as some of you may know already my truck has been sponsored by cbi, prinsu, and Baja designs thus far. I just ordered my cab rack and I would like everyone with theirs and the accessories you have on it. Lights are a must I want to see how you routed it into the cab.

Thanks Jay

I've seen people run it down the driver's A pillar (along the windshield molding) going under the hood.

Or you could drill your roof and do a sweet mil-spec cannon plug.

I ran a red and black wire up driver side. Pushed right in under black trim for windsheild and was 100% hidden. Then when it came out the top I shrinkwrapped it to the plug. Never had any issues. I no longer run a bar up top (have eliminated all wind noise from prinsu) so cant take pics. Use a tool like a flathead to stuff wire down into crack taking care not to cut wires sheathing.

I want to add some s2s on the side

Then you could run those down the passenger side. Shouldnt be a problem and I do believe you can connect all three grounds together as long as the main lead is large enough.

Except he’s not on. I messaged him earlier
He's an expert at this shit and he'll be back on eventually. I think he might be travelling around for work this week.

Hey sorry man. Busy day. I'll get to your message in the morning. Just sitting down to relax and am pretty spent. In a nutshell, I did create a harness from scratch, perhaps something I can help you with a make one for you. Wouldn't even know it's there and is totally weather tight

@Jay I tested it out and ran two 14awg wires inside some braided loom and ran them down the trim next to the window and they fit perfectly. I would just go that route. Just other have said above. Anything bigger than 14awg may be a super tight fit.

Thanks for this. Just waiting on everything to get here
