• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Looking for a thread to show off and talk about your latest mods? Or maybe you’re just looking for some inspiration on what to do to your rig next? Heck, maybe you just did something fun with your truck today. Whatever it may be, this is the place!

And since we all know that these forums are halfway useless without pictures, you know what to do..

I prefer an off road vehicle to have minimal chrome. That being said, I did away with the chrome bumper caps and painted them with Dupli-Color Truck Bed Armor.

Most recent mod would be the Manual Preservation Society sticker. +10whp!

Also still waiting on my sliders to finish being fabbed up. Ordered from Avid Off-road and they should be done in the week or two I think. :p

Very nice! Yeah I went with the attach to frame option, ordered in late March so they should be ready soonish.

Got any pictures of yours?

Haven’t gotten the chance to test them yet, but I’ll be heading to Moab in a few weeks.

They look good man! I opted for the kickout option for mine so they'll look a tad different from yours. Looking forward to testing them out once I get them. Have fun in Moab man!

Since a lot of these latest mods are sliders, I guess you could say that’s where I fucked up... I think my latest mod was putting a center console net in for my dogs.

Ouch! I had a similar experience, but the damage was not that big. Needless to say, I now have sliders haha

My first mod was HID low beams and fog light. I really hated the stock lights. When I have the money saved up my next one will sliders.
I don't use my stock fogs because of how lame they are. Can't let people know the only LED's I have are my DRL's. :giggle:

Oh I need that steeker (y)

Added some decals, visors, tonneau cover, bug deflector, and blacked out directionals on mirrors. those are my "mods" so far.

Not really a mod but one of my greatest investments has been a sunshade for the windshield lol it gets hot out here in El Paso and having that sunshade results in a temp difference that is immediately noticeable when getting back in the truck

I've always kinda thought about having one but I wasn't sure how good the difference really is.
Holy shit, didn't realize this exists. My tall ass is very blocked by the rearview. One of my biggest complaints about the driving layout, next to the steering wheel not extending out enough.
