• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

What have you done to, or with, your Tacoma today?

Not today but Monday I had the tsb done for my transmission shifting and it is a real pleasure to drive now.

Rough country black series pods installed for my fog lights using Cali raised brackets. Wired em up to run on my factory switches.

Installed the OEM Audio+ System 500 (sub & amp I’m hovering over) last night.

Kinda insane the difference it makes both with bass & loudness/clarity of the stock speakers.

I’ll have the video posted next Monday.

I'm planning on installing in stages to document the differences between their systems.

1 - System 500 (sub & amp)
2 - Speaker upgrade (bypassing the sub and amp)
3 - Reference 500 (sub, amp, speakers all together)

Following as you install. The stock JBL system is a little bit weak sauce.

No mods. Just using it. Full bed load of wood, stacked. Nothing like a pretty stack of logs.

Had a first time experience today. My son, William, wanted to help. And he was actually helpful, tossed logs towards the tailgate while I stacked. Pretty stoked, hopefully it's a harbinger of what's to come.

they have those anti vibration pads installed already, but I am sure they all can use grease at some point.
I had dakar's with the anti-squeak/vibration pads and they still squeaked like crazy, only way I got it to stop squeaking was going to a deaver leaf pack. Grease them up really good and wash them out often!

Installed Caliraised molle panels. I was worried about them fitting with the retrax cover but they fit perfectly.

Also ordered some falken wild peaks

First oil change on my Tacoma today. Just hit 1000 miles. Thought I’d do one after the break in period and planning on doing it every 5k. Let’s see if I don’t get lazy
