I’ve known about Cali Raised for a few years now. During that time I’ve seen about the same amount of positive reviews as I’ve seen negative. Their products seem solid and reasonably priced. So my question is should I buy their products or shop at another more consistently reliable company?

I have had there Ditch lights and brackets for a couple of months now, so far I have been very pleased with them. I do plan on purchasing more items from them in the future.

Im looking at getting some items from them that aren’t too critical like the bed rail flag holder and the bed stiffeners. For items like these, I wouldn’t mind getting non brand, i mean how bad could they be right? Lol

I am a caliraised fanboy go for it! I have ditch light brackets, bed stiffeners, ditch lights, three different light bars, tailgate cb brackets, switch panel. Dont regret any of my purchases. I did recently contact them about cheap hardware on their bed stiffeners. They use a hex key tool to tighten the bolts and all mine stripped now they cant come out. I informed them that i used regular hex head bolts to fasten other side and it came out way nicer. They did not reply a thank you for feedback or act like they cared at all so if you get bed stiffeners id recommend trashing their bolts and getting hardware store ones

I got their switch plate for the little cubby to the right of the steering wheel. Iit fit switches terribly but when I emailed them they offered to replace the plate or give me credit. So I ordered the shapeways one and got the tailgate accessory mounts from them. They were extremely nice and helpful though.

I’ve also heard about that issues in Cali raised products, especially in ditch light brackets. Ever heard about this complaint?

I have had their Ditch Lights and Brackets for a few months now, I really love the Low Profile of the brackets and the lights are still working flawlessly. On the bolts, nuts, washers, and around the holes in the bracket I am starting to get some surface rust. I am not overly concerned, I'll just replace the bolts and clean and touch up the brackets soon. This won't prevent me from getting more of Cali Raised products in the future.

Love em or hate em! There good products that work they are not gold, simple what they are for there price most and all problems with there items can be solved with some preventative measures ie use your own bolts , sand there paint or "powdercoat" and give it a good solid hit of paint .

My personal issue with them was small but annoying, I ordered ditchlight brackets they "shipped" tracking number blah blah 3-4 weeks later way past due date they dont know where it is and then eventually they said they never shipped cause they were sold out. Just annoying small issue .I live in Canada so shipping to here is a hassle especially with the border , I waited like a good boy gave a few more days after the expected time etc.
Will I order again possible as I am looking at there " vehicle switching system cough cough switch pros cough" cause it's still 300 bucks cheaper then the switch pros up here

Hey man, I will never tell people not to go after what they want. Caliraised does their thing an a lot of people like them. I prefer to go with Baja designs and with Switch-Pros.....why? They are proven, their customer service is hands down amazing, the build quality is top notch and they are made in the USA. That’s just my opinion.

P.S. US made might not mean as much to you as it does me though.

Quick comment on @CaliRaisedLED, just got an email from Blake thanking me for being a repeat customer and offering to help out with anything. Another reason I will keep going back to them for my lighting and Offroad needs.

I have had a few small questions here and there and Blake always returns my emails promptly. This is why I have been a repeat customer. I have recently started changing over to Baja Designs but love all the products caliraised is kicking out. Very happy with my tailgate brackets, bed stiffeners, fog light bezels etc

Very true but they do fabricate alot of items here in SoCal so not all their items are imported. Just some.

I had four Cali Raised pods on my last truck, two as ditch lights and two as fogs.

The Good: For the money, they seemed like a very rugged option. I never had any cracks in the lenses, moisture intrusion, no failures of any kind, and I was not easy on them.

The Bad: I found the powdercoating faded very quickly and turned a dull gray in short time. It was not very attractive, especially on the ditch lights. The lenses also yellowed a bit in a short time. They kind of made the whole truck look aged. I was not very impressed with the output, either (mine were all 18W "spots"). I did find the amber pods a bit more useful than the standard pods, but they didn't really add that much useful lighting. In my opinion, the spot beam pods are not well suited for use as ditch lights where the main goal is peripheral illumination so that may have also impacted my overall opinion of their output, or lack thereof.

Overall they're probably one of (if not the) best low-cost LED options on the market. They are not a Rigid or a Baja, but they can't be expected to be either.

Pic for legitimacy (I had Rigid amber covers on the ditch lights, the amber LED pods were in the fog location):

I have multiple products of theirs. I have purchased the Bed stiffners, fog light replacement pods, 32in bumper light and just installed their ditch lights and brackets. So far have had no issues.

I love my hidden bumper light bar and have been treated like good friend by Blake and Chris despite having only met them recently. Their sliders that are coming out are gonna be nice and flush to the truck, which IMO doesn’t really exist in most sliders, so I’m looking forward to that as well.

I hope to see their sliders in person sometime in the near future! I still haven't pulled the trigger on a set for my new truck and I desperately need to. I've had three sets of Avid weld-on sliders in the past but I want to go bolt-on this time just because I'm tired of losing them every time I go to a new truck.

Maybe we can talk Chris into doing some kind of discounted introductory Group Buy here for T3G :D

Calling @CaliRaisedLED for group buy!

I saw them in person and was pretty stoked that they are quite different than the usual slider design.

Yes please!!

I've been creeping their IG and they look great! I can't wait to see how they finish the end caps off, and I'm curious if they will offer a 15° or 20° option to stand out off the doors a bit more. Current version look super clean and functional from an off-road perspective but offers no door ding protection which is a consideration of mine being a daily driver.

Regardless, I am highly interested in them.
