Hey guys,
Recently I added some ditch lights, with this came the need to have controllability over these lights so naturally I ordered the Cali raised 3 switch panel that relplaces the driver side cubby compartment next to the steering collum.
This was an obvious choice as it’s a no drill no cut option for 3 switches to be mounted on the driver side which I’m sure appeals to everyone. Just 4 screws that you remove from the cubby As you can see pictured here:

I ordered the panel and I ordered a 2 way throw clicker switch from CH4x4. I chose this switch for the LED feature and that it fit the 3 switch panel from caliraised.

I started the install by first dropping the lower driver side panel below the steering collum. This is accomplished by removing two screws from the very bottom on either side of the panel. There are snaps that hold the panel in place, but all you need to do is start from the corner closest to the passenger bottom and work your way around, it’s okay to pull on them, they are designed to release and will not break off.

Next I needed to snip the leafs from the wiring harness I received from my lights and separate/strip the ends of the 3 leads (ground, positive, and disruptive lead), that was fed through the firewall as well as the 4 leads that come from the connector for the switch.

After we strip the leads and separate them we needed to determine which lead goes where as the switch connector was 4 instead of 3 leads. This was a lot easier than some might think and goes as follows, green, white, and red closest to black (disconnect lead, and LED), black to black, and red to red.

I use heatshrink for this install because it works great for outside and inside application, much more so than electrical tape as it’s non conductive, and provides more security than the tape who’s adhesive can degrade over time, or not stick as well.
Once everything is wired up we’re good to connect the switch with the connector and hide the wires and we’re complete!!

Hope this helped anyone interested in either the Cali raised 3 switch panel or just how to wire a switch for ditch lights, light bar or whatever you need.

I hear they are coming out w/ their own switch pro style solution

Now if @CaliRaisedLED can get me a solution for mounting it oem looking :p Ill rep the crap out of it on IG and forums lol. Its just sitting in garage until then

hmmm I thought that was supposed to be part of the package!!! I bet the SDHQ mount will work

It will not work due to the two mounting holes on either side of mine. It doesnt pop into place like other. I think there coming up with something shortly. Hopefully

Thank you for the Tips and pictures. Looks great and for you guys with the switch system. We will be making a bracket along with it soon, just finishing up our new sliders coming up soon.
