• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Rock sliders are one of the most important parts of armor, especially on a long truck like the Tacoma. We kept finding other sliders were either cut real short, hung awkwardly low, or had flimsy mounting options. We decided to challenge the idea of how well bolt on sliders could look, and work. The frame bracket is 3/16" CNC cut, using factory provided holes, to keep things nice and tight to the frame without putting heavy loads on one specific spot. If you have spent much time off-road, you know dropping the front off of ledges or rocks can lead to a big 'BANG' and the front of your sliders take a brunt of that. The generic frame only mounts just don't cut it, so we decided to use the part of the truck everyone seems to ignore, the cab mount. We are the only ones tying into the front cab mount to help support the load the front of the sliders see in these situations. Don't worry, the bracket, and the sliders, sit far enough back to clear your Cab Mount Chop, and larger tires. We offer in both HREW and DOM steel, and other options listed below to fit your truck the way you want. We use Steel-it's awesome coating to finish things off.
There are additional holes on the bottom side of the bracket where there are no factory frame holes. For those that know they are heavy abusers, and want that extra little strength, the optional holes are there to drill and add hardware.

Long bed folks! Don't sweat, we are testing our long bed setups now, and should have them to offer soon.

Our two styles of sliders are the Patton and the Abrams.
Both use our frame and cab mount plate (CMP) to secure the sliders.
Here is how the two break down:

The ABRAMS:
These are our basic sliders. Boxed main, with a tube outer, the Abrams are meant to take a beating while blending in with the truck.

-Double Cab Short Bed (DCSB) or Access Cab fit

-Direct Bolt on, NO drilling required

-86" overall length, tapered ends for a cleaner look and less snags on blunt edges.

-2" .120 wall box main tube.

-1.75" .120 HREW outer tube (Available with DOM outer for +$50)

-3/16" CNC main frame bracket with 1/4" cab mount tie in plates, 3/16" leg gussets

-Available in 0* only (flat)

-Grade 8 hardware included.

-Available in grey or black Steel-it coating

The PATTON:
These are our next level sliders. All tube design, angle of your choice*, the Patton sliders are meant to offer the look you want for your truck, and the protection you expect.

-Double Cab Short Bed (DCSB) or Access Cab fit

-Direct Bolt on, NO drilling required

-86" overall length

-1.75" tube, available in DOM or HREW (+$100 for DOM)

-3/16" CNC main frame bracket with 1/4" cab mount tie in plates, 3/16" leg gussets

*-Available from 0*-30* angle, Get the right look for you! Pictured at 25* (please message us with the desired angle on your sliders once you order! we make them at 20* standard)

Oh man, a few updates to add to here

One, we are now offering kickout on all models. For the angled pattons, the angle is limited to 20* max (standard can go up to 25*)
We are just awaiting a few pics of these from the first customers, and we will post them up.

Also, we are now going to be offering Dimple Die top plates for sliders. We felt the pressure from everyone about wanting top plates, so we got some die and will start offering top plates.

Top plates are awesome if you plan to have anything on the roof. Those kickout options look killer ?

We now have top plates and DCLB options listed on the site.
Our current black Friday sale is doing the DCLB sliders at DCSB cost PLUS the discount. So DCLB guys can get DOM sliders for $500 and up. Huge savings.

☝ That is a smokin' deal!

Do you guys have any photos of the DCLB sliders on a truck?
