I purchased a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport 4wd. And it was already bilt a little bit. It had a lift kit and some off road tries and wheels. However. I notice that the ball joint from the upper control arm is rubbing in the stick suspension. I’m not sure what is causing that problem.

Also, I have notice that o can’t seem to burnout or do donuts on this truck. And when I do a sharp turn the traction like flashes and a loud sound comes from the front of the truck. Not sure what is it. Hope some one can help me with these questions.

Too much lift, and its a v6, I couldn't imagine doing a burnout or even spinning the tires unless its wet or you're in dirt.

Most likely the rims are a incorrect back spacing, as your picture looks like the uca have been changed
But if you know what lift kits and etc was used be more of a help even more photos of the setup would help identify possible issues
Trac and atrac wont let tire slips happen and will kick in with aggressive sharp turns
Advise not to do burn outs and donuts but if that's your thing , dead stop HOLD traction control button(squiggle line one) and it will disable stability and trac and atrac control then maybe you can do a donut and burnouts

Thanks for help. I don’t durn outs or donuts on the road. Only on the dirt. Here’s a picture of the lift kit that it has. Not sure how many inches is it but. I believe it’s 2.5.

If you measure that spacer and multiply times 2 it will give your lift.

Hmmm probly a 2" lift and your tires are a good distance from the UCA hmmm were did you think it was rubbing again and when do you here or feel this rub

In mine- 2018 sr5, you have to hold down the track button for like 5-10 seconds, then on the cluster it will display, trac off as well as other lights lol. My sales rep taught me this and it allows the truck to sling its rear end around (in wet or soft terrain). Have not tried to do a burn out, as it’s definitely not made for that lol.

Hope that helps!

I’m not sure. I can’t hear it cause the tire that it came with are long. And I also have another concern when I slammed the brakes hard one time. A rubbing should was heard. The brake pedal kind of vibrated. Not sure. How that has to do with anything. But I found it being strange. It almost sounds like gears grinding together. Well at least that’s how I would describe the noise. And it’s that same noise when I make sharp turns.

Oh I first thought that it’s probably the tire hitting the lower fender for the front bumper but I really never paid attention to it.

Big tires and lift you will rub on the front bumper , fender liner front and back , and the lower back fender edge are common places to rub .
Vibration in the brake pedal ,possible warped rotor have a mechanic check brakes out front and back for ware pattern, warped drums and rotors .
Perhaps a wheel bearing? Possibly

If by chance you can safely get a sound clip that be awesome and alot of help
