Figured I'd get a better response rather then the flameage over at TW :p

Anyone ever used the company Quality Light Bar? I know you get what you pay for but sometimes you can get lucky... They've got some really good prices for their bars, I'm just not sure if it's worth it? I know Baja Designs and such are much better quality (likely).

The following is called their "Day Light Bundle" and is priced for $339 but is on sale for $169....

Included in this kit is:
- 52" curved 300 watt, 30,000 lumens, Ip68 waterproof tested!
(Worth $165)

- 20" bottom mount light bar, 126 watt, 12,000 lumens, Ip68 waterproof tested!
(Worth $65)

- (4) 4" led pods, 18 watt, 1,800 lumen per pod, Ip68 waterproof tested!
(Worth $44)

- Wiring harness with a switch (ONLY POWERS 52"CURVED)!
(Worth $19.99)

This question gets asked to many times, purchase what's in you price range if the reviews are good dive in ! As long as you are aware that you get what you pay for , and some times you win and lose then all good I would ask them for there ip68 certificate , as I've seen to many company's claiming they have it and a simple rain storm floods them. There are alot of affordable companies there just insure you are getting what you want out of it.

Ive actually seen these ads, and the census from a lot of people is that they do not receive all their products, or they break and are unable to get a new one. be careful with these companies.

Thanks, I'll start Googling for some reviews and if I decide to move forward I will ask for their certificate.

When dealing with lighting, quality is above all. In the end it is your decision, but consider one of the bigger companies. They back their products with garuntees and top notch testing and show the proof. One of the bigger companies lights could outperform multiple lights from a cheaper company, just something to consider.

With out doubt finance issues happan!!
But purchasing right time of year helps holiday sales etc. Joining forums and getting forums discounts or even group purchases helps out there are alot of great companies out there that are affordable nothing like the prices from these instacompanies but will have a far higher quality. @Malcolm is on the dot I consider lighting as part as safety on my vehicles and you dont ever skimp out on safety !
A single bajadesigns s2 pro on my truck is basically equivalent to 2 of the pods you listed
I have seen a video on Instagram of one of these instacompanies and they had basically the whole package you listed on the front of a truck and they have a drone fly around and shoot video while they drive at night and I kiss you now the lights where bright! But the distance was no more then 25 feet ahead of the vehicle , I have flashlights that put more distance off.
Now again you dont need to break the bank for quality there are good companies out there

I'd be open to suggestions to budget conscious 30" bar (behind TRD Pro Grill) and possibly ditch light setup.

Personal opinion wouldnt put a light.bar in the grills , it's not an optimum location to get the most out of a light bar, ditch lights better be shooting to the side:mad:

Blackoak led has great sales so check often and they great lights for the buck and have a limited lifetime warranty , easy people to deal with and I also think 100%made in america

Here is a light bar 364 usd and free ship
https://www.blackoakled.com/collect...products/30-s-series-single-row-led-light-bar

Pod light 72 bucks per pod

I know its alot more then what you where looking at but there also not bank breakers they have lots of sales aswell

Reason for the light behind the grill is simply aesthetics. I hate big gotti style builds that have so much shit all over them, I love clean, basic looking builds with some surprising hidden shit. The ditch lights would in deed, be focused towards lighting up the edges of the roadway off to the side in what would be a "ditch".

Good get some decent ditch and cheap out on the grill like then

I look for a light that will last the Baja 1000. Even better, that truck crashes a few times and the light still works. If it’s not race proven, why would I buy it?
