• Welcome to Tacoma3G.com, a free resource for 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma owners!

This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Now, if the format of this website is confusing to navigate for you, or if you're interested in my full mission and T3G's history, check out the Help and About pages.

Drive a desert tan Taco and a 1986 Marine Corps Chevy K30 (CUCV). I guess I fit the stereotype.

Never got the privilege to serve tried to become an officer in the Marines but they wouldn't give me medical waivers.

Joined the USN in early 70’s spent six years as a corpsman with the Marines. The team I was with got disbanded so I changed rate to AW. Retired in 1997.

2012-present. Out in Nov 2019. AD2 in the Navy joined on a SWCC contract but was dropped due to an Injury and placed on med hold for a year.

Loved it at first, now the personnel makes me loath it. Gonna finish up my business degree when I’m out prolly continue working in aviation till schools done in the private sector.

Active Duty Marine out of Camp Lejeune...

Any of you following me, you know I ended up selling my rear bumper bc of an upcoming deployment. I’m considering of letting go my 2016 Taco bc I don’t want to leave it “caged” while deployment. When I return, Id upgrade to a 2019/2020. Any recommendations on what I should do? May be willing to let my taco go for kbb price!

Thoughts anyone?
