This website is the passion-project of a USMC veteran/mechanic, @Tyler. I created Tacoma3G.com to share my knowledge of this subject with others and to provide like-minded folks with a comfortable space to ask questions and create 'build threads' within our Tacoma Forums. Who else?

Me and my brother and law and a buddy of ours brew 40 gallons every three months. Right now we are working on perfecting a New England style IPA. Here is the first run, our buddy made for as a graduation gift for me.

We have a couple solid recipes (Quad, Trippel, Pale Ale, English IPA, and our best, a Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy).

As for drinking beer, I'm all over the spectrum, with a focus on IPA.

The last few weeks I've been hitting it.

I just got a kit and hope to start soon. Any tips?

Do you guys have a name?
Fire Monkey Brewing. Because I almost set the house on fire on brewing session and our wives call us 3 monkeys

Keep your mash strike temp consistent (unless you are extract brewing) and sterilize everything

Yeah, melted the propane line and it had been spraying fire everywhere for almost a minute before we figured that out....

Now we have to brew 20' from the house...
